Data sources & methodology

Market prices

Price charts use third-party market data. The platform supports Twelve Data and Massive (formerly Polygon); the configured provider determines the source. Coverage, update timing, and history vary by instrument. ETF prices represent the fund, rather than the underlying index or commodity spot price.

Company financials

Financial statements draw on SEC company filings and provider-standardized statements. Annual and quarterly figures follow the company’s reporting periods, which may differ from calendar periods. Values can change after amendments or restatements. Coverage varies by company and metric.

Reading comparisons

Check the currency, units, reporting period, and selected metric before comparing companies. Percentage price changes compare a price with a reference period; they should not be read as total returns including reinvested dividends.

News and context

News briefs include source links. Automated summaries can omit context or contain errors; follow the cited article for the underlying report.
